Randy Scorby began his search for great beer decades ago and he has been home brewing since 2006. He is currently the Assistant BJCP Continuing Education Director as well as a Grand Master V Beer Judge, Mead Judge and Cider Judge.  He was also the 2011 National Homebrewer of the Year.  He has traveled to many locations worldwide in search of the perfect beer, including Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, New Zealand, Austria and the Czech Republic.

Brewed with more than twice the usual hops, this Double IPA is a hop hero of sorts. First, you'll taste notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Then, that craveable bitterness swoops in. So strong, so powerful, this beer might just be your, well, let's just say weakness.

Appearance: Deep amber with thin dissipating head.
Aroma: Sweet and toasted oak with bourbon, caramel, and vanilla.
Taste: Mildly sweet toasted sugars with warming alcohol, caramel, vanilla, cherries, apples, and dates.
