Chris Guest joined The Beer Connoisseur® in December 2014 and has been the Managing Editor since January 2018. He is responsible for the entire editorial direction of the Magazine and Online and has himself written a number of top-tier articles on a variety of topics including craft beer and brewing (obviously), cannabis, spirits, food, video games and sports.

Chris has been a beer fan since his college days, and has been writing and thinking about its wondrous flavors and aromas since he was soon out of the bosom of higher learning. He is both an astute observer and voracious consumer of pop culture as well and is finely attuned to its vivid history. He is passionate about furthering his knowledge of all subjects – though his preferences are music, gaming, sports and craft beer (he still loves his IPAs).

Chris graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in 2012. When not writing and editing, he enjoys playing video games, watching movies and television with his wife (and their three cats), reading esoteric tomes on a variety of subjects and writing both serious and satirical songs on his trusty Martin guitar.
