This Session IPA pours a hazy and opaque deep gold with a dense, mousse-like head that leaves nice lacing as the beer throughout sampling. Lovely, light, and airy hop aromas of tropical fruits, pineapple, tangerine and grass interplay with a very slight malt graininess. Low hop flavor of sweet tangerine and pineapple are the most prominent, with grassy notes helping lend an earthy effect that blends with the beer’s medium-high bitterness. The hops are the showcase here as the malt profile is low with a touch of graininess and caramel. The body is medium-light, but an ample and tongue-tickling carbonation level helps increase perceived creaminess. For the IPA lovers, this is an exceptional offering to quench your thirst during the dog days of summer.
