Juicify by Lakefront Brewery is being judged here as a 21B Specialty IPA, using the underlying style as a juicy/hazy IPA.
In the glass, it is a somewhat hazy pale yellow with a thin white head that sticks around. Attractive enough. The nose shows as quite fruity, with cantaloupe, guava, papaya and grapefruit. Not over the top, but it is hop forward. Subtle malt beyond the hops. The yeast also seems to contribute some esters as well, tending towards juicy fruit gum. On tasting, this seems to be primarily late/dry hopped, as the bitterness is fairly restrained overall. Loads of tropical fruit, guava & papaya lead the way with a juicy fruit backbone from the yeast. The finish tends more towards passion fruit and lingers on. Smooth and pretty refreshing overall, if lacking a bit in terms of "loudness" from the hops. The malt and alcohol support the beer pretty well. My biggest detraction here is the yeast character, which adds a bit of a sharpness on the finish. Otherwise, a solid entry.
