Flying Saucer's BeerFeast Benefits Pints for Prostates

Tickets are now on sale for Flying Saucer's 2017 BeerFeast, which will benefit Pints for Prostates. For all the details, see the release below:

SUGAR LAND, Texas, Aug. 1, 2017 – Tickets are now on sale for Flying Saucer Draught Emporium’s 6th annual 2017 Texas BeerFeast in Sugar Land, one of the South’s premier outdoor craft beer events. The 2017 festival, which is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Sugar Land Town Square, will feature more than 100 high-quality craft brews from around the world. A portion of all proceeds will benefit Pints for Prostates.

A pioneer on the craft beer scene since opening its first beer bar in 1995, Flying Saucer was also a leader in the beer festival movement when they hosted their first BeerFeast in Fort Worth in 2005. Although in prior years Flying Saucer has hosted as many as four separate Texas BeerFeasts, the family of taprooms is returning to its roots, combining its annual celebrations of the world’s best beer into a single festival. The consolidation comes with a new nonprofit partnership, a host of food vendors and more of the high-quality and rare brews beer lovers crave.

About Pints for Prostates
Pints for Prostates reaches men through the universal language of beer to encourage them to take charge of their health. Prostate cancer survivor and beer writer Rick Lyke founded the group in 2008. The grassroots effort raises awareness among men about the importance of regular health screenings and PSA testing by making appearances at beer festivals, social networking and pro bono advertising. According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 240,000 new prostate cancer cases are diagnosed annually in the U.S. More information is available at www.pintsforprostates.org. Pints for Prostates also has a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@pints4prostates).
