Trillium's latest collaboration with oits Scandinavian friends at Amager Bryghus. Inspired by traditional Danish wheat bread, this beer incorporates stone ground whole wheat flour in the mash to create a rustic, bready character. For layered complexity, we added tangerine peel and raw wildflower honey into the whirlpool followed by a double dry hop of Citra/Amarillo. Candied orange, lemon and freshly baked bread permeate the nose. Flavors of tangerine peel, grape and rustic bread emerge on the palate, rounded out by a crisp and balanced finish.
