Beer Here: Odell Piña Agria

Odell Brewing has announced its latest release, Piña Agria, a 750ml corked and caged offering due out July 31.

Piña Agria is a funky, tart pineapple-centric brew fermented with yeast from Odell’s Friek. There’s also a hint of melon in there.

The recipe for Piña Agria came from Matt Bailey, Odell’s Maintenance Manager.

"I always wanted to do a sour brew at home, but never had the resources, knowledge, or the yeast to do it well at home," said Bailey. "For me, this is obviously a special beer, but it embodies what Odell Brewing is about...home brewing roots, collaboration from learning and working with a team, and the ability for anyone to try and brew what they want on our pilot system."

The beer will be available in August, and for those in the Fort Collins area, Odell’s taproom will provide samples and pairings July 31 thru August 2.
