Alaskan Brewing has released Imperial IPA, the latest in its Pilot Series. The 8.5 percent Imperial IPA features seven hops with pale, light crystal and Munich malts.
“Our Imperial IPA is a celebration of hops, and especially two hop
varieties – Simcoe and Mosaic,” said Alaskan Quality Assurance Manager David Wilson. “Both hops have the same developer in common, a remarkable Washington State hops grower named Jason
Perrault.”
The 80 IBU brew is also made with Topaz, Bravo, Summit, Nugget and Apollo hops, and will be available on draft and in 22-ounce bombers until September.
