Sun King Brewery Celebrates 10 Years with Anniversary Concert

Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis, Indiana has announced the dates for its annual anniversary celebration. This year, the brewery will be celebrating its 10th year.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Sun King Brewery will host their annual anniversary concert (SKB10) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at their downtown Indianapolis brewery (135 N College Ave.), marking ten years of brewing independent Indiana craft beer.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a sampling of Indy’s best food trucks along with activations from Sun King’s partners. There will also be special on-site tappings including 10-4 Good Buddy Collaborations with Austin Beerworks, Cigar City, Rhinegeist and 3Floyds, Grapefruit Jungle (GFJ), Sun King King’s Reserve beers and more.

Sun King Brewery anniversary concerts have become a staple on the summer events calendar attracting sellout crowds and dedicated craft beer drinkers. With a history of hosting up and coming musical acts early in their careers, as well as regional and national artists, Sun King Brewery has become a go-to destination for live music and award winning craft beer in Indiana. 

“Music has a huge influence on everything that we do at Sun King,” said Sun King Brewery CEO Clay Robinson. “While listening to music, Dave Colt and I came up with the concept of Sun King Brewery. Over the past ten years, we have used songs to help us when naming beers. Once a year we throw our own big party at our downtown Indy brewery showcasing many of the great beers we craft and featuring bands that we love.”

Sun King Brewery has partnered with local concert promoter and event producer MOKB Presents for the past sixth years for the Sun King Brewery anniversary concerts to ensure that each celebration showcases their passion for beer and love for music.

“Sun King Brewery has been one of MOKB Presents’ favorite partnerships,” said MOKB Presents founder and talent buyer, Josh Baker. “We work closely with their team to curate the anniversary party with up and coming talent. It’s allowed us to develop relationships with artists early on in their careers, such as Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers and St. Paul & the Broken Bones, and then continue working with them as their careers develop.”

SKB10 is open to guests 21 years old and over. No coolers, outside food or beverages, or pets are permitted inside the event.
