Great Basin Brewing Celebrates Two World Beer Cup Bronze Medals

Great Basin Brewing Co. in Sparks, Nevada, after having won 2 World Beer Cup Medals (both bronze for Bitchin' Berry in the Fruit Wheat Beer category and Truckee River Red in the American-Style Amber/Red Ale category), has announced a special celebration in honor of these two award-winning brews.

The party will feature $3 pints of each beer until the kegs run out, as well as a short ceremony in which the awards will be hung on the brewery's walls.

 WHAT: Great Basin Brewing Company hosts a party and brewer meet & greet in honor of winning two Bronze awards at the 2018 World Beer Cup® for Bitchin' Berry (in the Fruit Wheat Beer category) and Truckee River Red (in the American-Style Amber/Red Ale category). To celebrate this feat both beers will be on tap at their Sparks brewpub along with special $3 per pint pricing until the kegs run out. Brewmaster Tom Young will also be on hand to make a short speech and lead the awards hanging celebration.

Often referred to as the “Olympics of Beer Competitions” these 2 awards were out of a total of 302 that had been were awarded out of a field of 8,234 entries from around the world. With these wins they’ve won a total of 13 World Beer Cup awards.
