Urban Artifact Celebrates 5th Anniversary

Urban Artifact in Cincinnati, Ohio has announced details of its 5th anniversary celebration, taking place in mid-April. Full details from the brewery are below.

Urban Artifact is turning 5! We will be celebrating this exciting event on Saturday, April 18 from 11am-close. This will be a day of delicious new beer releases, tastings of some archived favorites, and several different musical acts ending with a free show in the Reliquary by Dan Deacon! In conjunction with our Anniversary Party we are also launching Radio Artifact Live, which will consist of a newly renovated live music space where local and touring bands can record music for release through Radio Artifact Records.

We will be releasing 4 new beers for the event; a Double MWFT, two Variants, and a Bruit Fruit Tart. Our MWFT for the month of April is Kaleidoscope, a tropical and fruity blend of Pineapple, Orange, and Guava. At the event we will be releasing 2 Kaleidoscope Variants; Tropical Milkshake and Lime Daiquiri. Double Kaleidoscope will also be debuted at the event, this beer features 2x the fruit as the original! Alongside the multitude of Kaleidoscope spin-offs we are introducing the next beer in our Brut Fruit Tart line. Celebration Grapes, our ode to Traditional Champagne made with Chardonnay grapes, will be sold in 4-packs of 8oz. cans for the event! There will also be some archived beers making an appearance that will be available for to-go purchase. 

During the afternoon we will be offering guided tastings of some of our favorite cellared beers led by members of our brew team! There are 2 tastings scheduled at 1:15pm and 2:30pm, and each will be capped at 15 people per time slot. The beers that will be offered during the tasting will be; Sunglow, Calliope, Beipiaosaurus '17, and Beipiaosaurus '18. These tastings will be $25 per person and will include samples of each of the four beers listed above as well as some insight from our brewers on each selection. Make sure to reserve your spot soon! With great beer comes great music! To celebrate the launch of Radio Artifact Live, there will be a free show from 4-8pm in the newly renovated live music space. To close out the night, Dan Deacon will be performing a free show upstairs in our Reliquary Space, with openers starting at 8:30pm. In association to Urban Artifact's 5th Birthday, we are also taking the time to debut Radio Artifact Live, which is an amalgamation of a radio station, live music venue, and recording studio. This launch will mark the completion of an entire aesthetic facelift to our venue that transforms the acoustics of the room and will allow for local and touring musicians to record their music directly in the space.
