Motorworks Brewing Wins US Open Beer Championship Gold Medal

Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton, Florida has announced that its Datil Pepper Chocolate Imperial Porter won a gold medal in the Chili Pepper beer category at the U.S. Open Beer Championship.

Breweries from Russia to Rhode Island sent in more than 7,000 beers representing over 130 different styles for the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Championship. 

Our Datil Pepper Chocolate Imperial Porter won a Gold Medal in the Chili Pepper Beer category, its second in the competition (2019, 2016). While the baseline version is out-of-stock, we do have a couple cases of the delicious rum barrel-aged variant still available exclusively in the Taproom.
