Fire Maker Brewing Co. Introduces Six-Packs to Georgia

ATLANTA, GA - Fire Maker Brewing proudly introduces their first 6-packs to the Georgia market and to their West Midtown, Atlanta Taproom! These are the very first 6-packs Fire Maker has ever produced and packaged. The lineup includes five beers that are already quickly gaining a reputation in Atlanta for their delicious taste and otherworldly designs.

Coming in first with a beer already dubbed AJC’s, “Beer pick of the week,” is Perfect Match, a balanced IPA that combines the best of both coasts – grapefruit, pine, and light caramel from the West Coast with the bright orange citrus burst and big late-boil hop additions from the East Coast.

Their second IPA is Hazed and Blazed, a Hazy New England IPA that is deceptively strong and tastes like fresh lemon cake with a candy drizzle. It complements the subtle lemon flavor of Lemondrop hops with the bold, juicy, intensely fruity character in Mosaic and El Dorado hops.

Their third IPA is Space Dragon: Mission 1, part of their Rotating Double IPA Series featuring the timeless American blend of Citra, Amarillo, and Centennial hops with juicy orange, grapefruit, and tropical fruit flavors. Their naturally soft water, wheat-heavy grain bill, and fruit-forward English ale yeast combine to create a rounded, medium-bodied beer with a soft mouthfeel.

Their last IPA is Chattahooch-Tea, a Southeastern IPA. Fire Maker coined the term, “Southeastern IPA” as a nod to the Southern delicacy that is sweet tea. Chattahooch-Tea is steeped with a custom tea blend, and lactose makes it sweet like the South. Brewed with hints of honey malt and double dry hopped with Lemondrop and Motueka, their unique IPA is a true Southern treat.

For the easy drinking days, they have Way Down Yonder, a Leisure Lager, designed to provide optimum refreshment without sacrificing flavor. This smooth, crisp, unfiltered lager features Lemondrop hops (a brewery favorite) and the malty-sweet flavor of Pilsner malt.

The beautiful can artwork is by the extremely talented Jordan Atkinson, whose work you may recognize from the large murals in their Taproom. Each design portrays the beer’s unique flavor through otherworldly art, that pushes your imagination and taste buds. The bold and boundary-breaking scenes feature blazing hops, sunset and beer streams, space galaxies, and their staple symbols: dragons and fire. 

All 6-packs contain 12 oz cans that not only feature beautiful art, but also innovative design elements. Each label includes a beer meter for easy flavor identification, and a QR code that leads you to a fun and informational video of a Fire Maker team member discussing the beer’s tasting notes.

“It’s surreal to be able to open the fridge and grab a Fire Maker beer now that we have cans.” Said Owner, Elliott Hall. “After months of hard work from the whole team, the most rewarding part for us is seeing other people take home a 6-pack of what they enjoy.”

The new 6-packs are available for purchase in their Taproom now, and from their distributing partners, Eagle Rock Distributing Company and Atlanta Beverage Company. You can find a detailed list of all the bars, restaurants, and retail stores where you can find Fire Maker beer on their website.

You can also stay for pints in their Taproom that is officially open! They are taking the utmost precautionary measures to keep their facility safe and clean for the health and well-being of all their customers and staff.

Fire Maker was only open for 8 short days, before COVID-19 shut-down their Taproom in March, turning their brand-new Brewery into a temporary Crowler store for months. The overwhelming amount of support they received from the community allowed them to keep production moving forward and into the market, as well as keep all of their full-time employees on staff. Fire Maker is a small company that has only been open for less than 3 months now, but they want to do their part to give back to the Atlanta community. During the months of June and July $1 from every pint of their Equality & Solidarity Beer, ESB, will be collected and donated to ACLU of Georgia in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
