Diebolt Brewing Co.'s Populator Returns

Diebolt Brewing Co. in Denver, Colorado has announced the return of a popular limited release: Populator.

Populator is a double dry hopped barrel-aged Barleywine that clocks in at 11.5 percent ABV and spent 12 months in bourbon barrels.

Dark fruit, raisins and light cherry notes blast forth followed by a sweeping shockwave of caramelization while the finishing fallout is smooth and dry. This heavy hitter is weighing in at 11.5% ABV and spent 12 months in second use bourbon barrel, then we moved it to a fermentor and double dry hopped it with a total of 2.75lbs per BBL of Cascade, Chinook, and Simcoe. The Dry Hops added a huge tropical fruit aroma and flavor reminiscent of Mango, Papaya, and Starfruit!
