Diebolt Brewing Co. Releases Two New Brews

Diebolt Brewing Co. in Denver, Colorado has announced the release of two new beers.

The first is a beer in honor of Major League Baseball's Opening Day and, more specifically, the first game of the season for the Colorado Rockies and their fan favorite outfielder Charlie Blackmon.

The beer is called Charlie Blackberry and is a fruited sour brewed with blackberries.

Beyond that the brewery is releasing a collaboration beer for the Craft Brewers Conference with 3 other breweries. The full release from Diebolt is below.

Charlie Blackberry Release & Rockies Opening Day Party

Named in honor of the Colorado Rockies most charismatic character and best baseball beard, Charlie Blackmon!

Bring your ticket from Opening Day and receive 50% off draft beer. We'll be opening EARLY at noon in order to stream the game live and for those of you heading to Coors Field to get here for some pre-game Charlie! We're only a short bike ride, scooter, or walk from Coors Field!  Electronic Colorado will be onsite in the evening raising money for charity with prizes of their own.

Brewed as a quick sour, not necessarily a kettle sour, this beer was mashed, boiled for 10 mins, then sent to a fermentor at 115 F and pitched with lactobacillus. After reaching the desired ph over 3 days it was sent back to the kettle for the proper boil and hop treatment and then back to the fermentor with saison yeast. 5 days later we pumped in 500lbs of blackberry puree and the rest is history. This spring classic is a home run!!!

4 Gone Can-Clusion: A Hoppy Pilsner brewed with Weyermann Pilsner Malt, Yeast from a famous Bavarian monastery, and brewed/dry hopped with 100% German Hallertau Blanc Hops.

This year's Craft Brewers Conference is again held in Denver and to celebrate this event we paired up with three other companies to create and package this amazing brew: Cabin Boys Brewing from Tulsa, Oklahoma; Twin Monkeys Beverage Systems from Aurora, CO; and Can Source located in Longmont, CO. Both Cabin Boys Brewing and Diebolt package beer on Twin Monkeys canning lines and purchase shrink wrapped cans from Can Source, so this collaboration seemed like a natural fit.

Twin Monkey Beverage Systems will have an additional canning line on location and will be running a few demos throughout the evening in our event space!
