Von Ebert Brewing, a distinguished craft brewery established in 2018 by the dynamic father-son duo, Tom C. Cook and Tom S. Cook, pays tribute to their family matriarch affectionately known as “Grandma Ebert.” The brewery's name, Von Ebert, echoes the legacy of Grandma Ebert, an immigrant from Germany who displayed unparalleled resilience, determination and tenacity in establishing a prosperous life for her family in the United States.
The moniker "Von Ebert" translates to “House of Ebert” or, in its full English rendition, "House of the Boar," representing not only a memorable branding but a heartfelt homage to the family's heritage. The German-inspired lagers and menu items, alongside the warm and inviting ambiance, embody a spirited celebration of their roots. The brewery is firmly grounded in family lineage, serving as the inspiration for their craft beers and operational ethos.
