Back East Brewing Co. in Bloomfield, Connecticut has announced the re-release of Suzy Greenberg Mango IPA and Rakautra IPA, both of which will be available in cans from the brewery starting July 19.
Both are eminently quaffable and feature delightfully juicy and fruity flavors. In Suzy Greenberg's case, it's from the addition of mangos during brewing and for Rakautra, that fruity nature comes courtesy of the inclusion of Rakua hops from New Zealand. The full release from the brewery is below.
We are excited to be releasing fresh batches of two of our favorite IPAs.
On Thursday, July 19th at 4 pm, our old friend Suzy Greenberg makes her long-awaited, triumphant return. Come see her strut her stuff. Suzy Greenberg Mango IPA is a delicious, tropical IPA with added mango.
On Friday, July 20th at 4 pm, the hard to pronounce but easy drinking Rakautra IPA (Ra-cow-tra) returns! Rakautra is brewed with Rakau hops from New Zealand and Citra hops from the Pacific Northwest. This beer is hazy, soft, and delicate on the palate, and packed with passion fruit and peach aromas.
On Friday, our friends from Republic will be here serving their delicious cheesesteaks and other snacks. Shawn Layne will also be here playing a great mix of classic and modern rock (hopefully on the patio if the weather cooperates).
We will have a limit of 3 six-packs per person for Suzy & Rakautra (1 case total limit), plus on-site draft pours. Growler fills will be available, but may be limited based on lines. We will have at least 10 other beers on tap as well, including Ice Cream Man IPA (12 oz pours only).
Our July Community Spotlight Tap is Tom Cosenzi's Driving for the Cure, a fundraiser supporting the Dana-Farber Fund. $1 from every pint of Summer Ale sold during the month of July will be donated to this charity. We hope to see you soon.
