Upland Brewing Debuts Trio of New Beers

Upland Brewing Co. of Bloomington, Indiana has announced three new brews for the spring season. Life Exotic is a saison brewed with lemon and tangerine zest, Pearpawsterous is a sour beer collaboration with Cascade Brewing that features Pawpaws and pears and Luminary is a foeder-aged sour brewed persimmon, pineapple and peach. Welcome to the Life Exotic. Our new summer Saison is a refreshing ale brewed with lemon and tangerine zest. Freshly canned and ready for you to pick up on store shelves. It's available on tap now and beginning Monday, March 19 you can pick up a 6 pk and receive a 20th Anniversary koozie with purchase at Upland locations!

A Cascade collaboration

Over the years, we’ve admired many of the beers coming from our friends at Cascade in Portland, Oregon. This collaboration is a melding of our two programs. With similar wheat base beers, we aged our beers on whole pawpaws from Indiana and a custom pear blend from Oregon. Experience the balance of both fruit flavors with a tart, dry finish. Pearpawsterous is available in 500 ml bottles and distribution is limited, so find it at bottle shops now! 

Persimmon + pineapple + peach = Luminary

Luminary is brewed in our Twiggy Sawdust foeder, paying homage to Bowie's out-of-this-world music with an out-of-this-world beer. We take our six month aged base blonde sour and fruit it with persimmon, pineapple, and peach. Just before packaging, we dry hop it with Galaxy hops, adding delectable hop aromas to balance the intense fruity flavors. Now available in 500 ml bottles.
