Sudwerk Releases First Frontier Lager

Sudwerk announced that it was an early supporter of the Sacramento Beer Frontier – its region's srecently launched brewery passport program. In October 2016, Suwerk joined forces with New Helvetia and Fountainhead to produce "First Frontier Lager." This collaboration is the first brew in what they hope will become an annual tradition of celebrating our region as an ever-expanding, world class beer destination. The program was successfully funded with a Kickstarter campaign, and this dark and delicious lager will help celebrate the season as brewery passports become available in mid-December. Swing by Sudwerk's Dock to be the first to try the First Frontier and prost the adventure!

About Sacramento Beer Frontier
According to its website, Sacramento Beer Frontier is “a collaborative effort of the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild, Sacramento Beer Frontier is a brewery passport experience that celebrates and broadcasts the region as a prominent West Coast beer destination.”

A summer 2016 Kickstarter campaign supported development of the passport program to be launched in November 2016.
