Stone Brewing Co. Hires Tom McReavy to Oversee National Sales and Stone Distributing Co.

Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido, California has announced the naming of Tom McReavy as the company's vice president of sales. Full details are below.

ESCONDIDO, CA (March 25, 2021) – Today, Stone Brewing announces the hire of Tom McReavy to Senior Vice President, Sales. Beginning March 29, 2021 McReavy will oversee Stone Distributing Co. and National Sales for the nation’s ninth largest craft brewery.
 
McReavy brings 25 years sales leadership experience to Stone. He launched and sold video games such as Call of Duty and Guitar Hero as VP Sales at Activision Blizzard. Most recently, McReavy held the position of Senior Vice President Sales at Heineken’s Lagunitas Brewing Company where he led the US and Canadian sales teams.

Sales, marketing and strategy are the key disciplines in collaboration behind Stone’s successful commercial plan and development. As such, McReavy will work closely alongside Stone’s recently hired VP of Marketing, Erin Smith and VP of Strategy, Zach Keeling to ensure continued success of Stone’s craft offerings and go-to-market execution.  The trio’s top priorities this year include the fast-growing newcomer Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager and the #1 selling gluten-reduced beer in the US, Stone Delicious IPA. New innovations including Stone Dayfall Belgian White and the upcoming Stone Hazy IPA also top the list.
 
VP Marketing Erin Smith joined Stone Brewing March 1, 2021. Most recently she led the marketing team at PAX Labs after 13 years in beverage alcohol at E&J Gallo Winery and Constellation Brands. VP of Strategy Zach Keeling returned to Stone in 2020 after obtaining an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior, he worked as Director of Strategy at Stone Brewing and in several finance roles at Baxter Healthcare in Chicago.
