Morph – Night Shift Brewing – 93 Rating

BC: Who came up with this beer’s recipe?
I did. Morph is an evolving recipe that we've charged multiple brewers with developing. Every batch is different, so we're always trying new techniques, hops, grain, and water profile combinations.

BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
Topaz was a cool new hop that we paired with Simcoe to really highlight the saturated grapefruit flavor that both can give off in this particular batch of Morph.

BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
The name "Morph" was developed as a way to communicate with consumers that this is a different beer every time they purchase it. The date on the bottom of each can corresponds with batch notes we post on our website to inform consumers of what exactly is different in each batch.

BC: Do you know a story – or have a personal story – that revolves around this beer?
This series of beers has really inspired some of our year round creations, such as our flagship IPA Santilli, which started as a Morph. It's a pretty neat experience to watch a beer become released as an experiment and see the demand from consumers encourage us to turn it into a beer that stays around.
