The banks of the Arkansas river will flow with beer... and bluegrass. More than twenty-five breweries have already signed on for the first annual Rapids and Grass Beer Festival, which willl take place on Saturday, July 1. For more details, see below:

Buena Vista, Colo. - April 14, 2017 - Buena Vista’s first ever beer and music festival will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017. More than 25 breweries from Colorado and across the United States will pour at the First Annual Rapids & Grass Beer Festival in an outdoor venue along the banks of the Arkansas River.

“Buena Vista has long been a destination for July 4th weekend thanks to the many 14ers and recreational sites in the area, but until now, there has been no signature event that many mountain towns have,” says Sarah Haughey, Rapids & Grass Beer Festival director and owner of The Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar. “This annual festival is a celebration of Buena Vista and of Colorado, combining bluegrass music with the outdoors and of course, lots of craft beer.”

The festival, produced by The Jailhouse Craft Beer Bar in partnership with the bluegrass band Rapidgrass and local nonprofit South Main Arts & Parks, will showcase beers from some of the best brewers in the state as well as some from out of state. See below for the current brewery lineup:
