Boulder Beer Sees Nothing Wrong With a Little "Bump 'n Rind"

Colorado's first craft brewery has announced a new watermelon Kolsch whose name calls to mind the self proclaimed "King of R&B", R. Kelly. For all the (juicy) details, see below:

Boulder, CO – Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Craft Brewery, is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Bump ‘n’ Rind Watermelon Kolsch.

Bump ‘n’ Rind will be available May through September in 12-oz 6-pack cans as well as draft in select markets where Boulder Beer is sold.

“Bump ‘n’ Rind is a crushable Kolsch-style beer with just the right amount of fresh watermelon zing,” said Tess McFadden, Marketing Director at Boulder Beer Company.  “Coming out in cans for the summer, it’s going to make a perfect companion to just about any fun outdoor occasion.”

For Boulder area fans, the brewery will be releasing Bump ‘n’ Rind on Thursday, May 11^th, tapping the first keg at 4:00pm.  The release party will feature live music on the patio, watermelon-inspired games, prizes and giveaways.
