The Beer Connoisseur Releases New Bi-Monthly Atlanta/Georgia Print Magazine, Available for Free in Select Retail Locations

Atlanta, GA – The Beer Connoisseur is excited to announce its new bi-monthly Atlanta/Georgia print edition. This free edition was created to spotlight engaging events, new beer releases and local happenings in metro Atlanta and the southeast.

The first 32-page issue was made available for free at select retail locations in the Atlanta area starting on July 4. This new local-themed edition joins The Beer Connoisseur’s continued production of its Premium Web Magazine as well as the publication’s year-end, coffee table-worthy print edition titled The Beer in Review

"The debut of our new Atlanta/Georgia print edition marks an exciting new chapter for us," said Lynn Davis, BC founder and publisher. "The Beer Connoisseur has long called Atlanta home, so it felt like the right time to turn our attention to what was going on in our own backyard. This new local edition will provide readers and businesses in the metro Atlanta area with timely news and updates as well as fascinating stories regarding where they live and work.”

This brand-new free print edition features a wide variety of stories, including cover story “Catching Atlanta Up on the Best In Beer,” which details the highest-scoring beers and breweries from the publication’s past three year-end print editions.

Beyond the cover story, this new local edition highlights upcoming events in the area for the time frame in which the issue is available. As such, the inaugural Summer 2022, Issue #1 spotlights upcoming music and arts events, such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert with guitarist John Frusciante back in the fold, as well as upcoming sporting events, such as the FedExCup golf finals and the Atlanta Braves hosting MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels for the first time in Atlanta.

In addition to music and arts events, there is a story detailing upcoming beer-themed events. Beyond that, the new local edition also features the debut of an ongoing series called “What We’re Drinking Now,” which focuses on a few of the pints our staff has been pouring recently. The issue also features a limited release calendar for rare, hard-to-find beers that will only be available for an extremely short amount of time.

The new Atlanta/Georgia edition of The Beer Connoisseur magazine are available for free at the Atlanta area locations listed here.
